Republicans and Divided Government

The demographics of the Republican party and the deaths of so many "white males and females" from old age and the fact that these Republicans are not being replaced fast enough (or at all) is causing Republicans to rethink their strategy. If they cannot elect another Republican President how do they maximize their power anyway?

So, divided government that reminds me a little of the history of the Civil War when the south broke away from the north reminds me of what is happening now.

The basic strategy now seems to be, "If we can't get at least 50% of the presidents to be Republican then we will undermine all Democratic Presidents power anyway we can."

So, this appears to be what is going on now with Netanyahu and now with the letter of 47 Senate Republicans to the government of Iran.

This present strategy is undermining our 2 party system. So, maybe we need more parties instead of just two to survive well as a nation governed this way?
