The Washington Post is pretty sure Whitaker was put in as Acting Attorney General to prevent the indictments of Donald Trump Jr. And Roger Stone yesterday. This is why Trump couldn't wait to put Whitaker in because he had to find a way to prevent Donald Trump Jr.'s and Roger Stone's indictments for illegal actions.
