My
experience has always been that the galaxy is a living thing. However, I always experience everything to be alive as an intuitive which it is.
The earth is alive, the sun is alive. All the planets are alive including the rocks and pavement you walk on is alive.
It's just a different form of life than you were taught to perceive as a child.
Trying to give you examples of how I know this to be true I don't find useful right now.
However, there is sentience everywhere and everywhen. And if you are aligned with it it will empower you in ways beyond your imagination.
To be against this sentience is to cause one's own early death in various ways. To be aligned with the full sentience of the physical universe is to be empowered and in a sense to never die.
Is the physical universe God?
I think part of God is the physical universe. However, then again my experience is that the whole universe including us is all part of the Mind of God. This is what soul traveling throughout this galaxy and others has taught me over the last 60 plus years of life.
So, one way to view both each one of us and planets and stars and the galaxies is as "thoughts of God".
We are a part of a vast artwork imagined by God and always in motion and changing and yet never changing in a way too. This artwork has no beginning or end. Because God likely has no beginning or end. And if we are a part of God we have no beginning or end either. So, rejoice in Forever.
Being is nice.
